Radio-Frequency System-on-a-Chip

(RF-SoC) Group

RF-system-on-a-chip (RF-SoC) means that the RF/analog/digital circuits are all integrated with memory blocks and microprocessors/DSP as a complex single-chip digital communication system. Professor Lie is the Keh-Shew Lu Regents Chair Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Texas Tech University. His reasearch gorup mainly focus on : (1) power-efficient RF/Analog Integrated Circuits (ICs) with System-on-a-Chip (SoC) design and test, and (2) interdisciplinary research on medical electronics, biosensors, and biosignal processing.

Mr. Travis Hall's thesis has been awarded with TTU's First Place Master's Thesis Winner for 2016 in the category of Math, Physical Sciences, and Engineering

Dr. Lie is at San Francisco, CA for the IEEE International Microwave Symposium Week (IMS2016 Week) and he is serving as the Chair of IEEE RFIC Symp

Dr. Lie served as the General Chair of IEEE VLSI-DAT conference, Hsin-Chu, Taiwan, April 25-27, 2016

PhD student Mr. Jerry Tsay's paper has just won the 3rd place "Best Student Poster Award" in IEEE TX Wireless Symposium 2016
